So I want to explore ideas expressed earlier this weekend.

What is your favorite window manager and why? Be it on #unix or something else.

I'd also like to hear about #wm that never saw the light of day or have since died. Especially if they had specific peculiarities.

@superpat I don't use it myself but my mind was blown away when @dthompson pointed me to:

1. how guile-xcb works: it reads the XML spec for the X11 *as object code*
draketo.de/proj/py2guile/#text and

2. guile-xcb includes a demo window manager 1/20th the size of dwm:
