I made this sheet metal box with hand tools -- I've never made anything out of sheet metal before, it took about 30 minutes using shears, a long brake, a finger brake, pop riveter and seamer.

@insom nice, those are some crisp looking bends

i've got some ideas for keyboard related things, that involve using brakes on laser-cut sheet metal

but shelved them because i was unsure how to get access to brakes without spending way more money than i want to

just now found some videos showing how to build your own diy long brake... but that requires a bunch of metalworking saws and bits that i also don't have lol

i guess one month membership at a makerspace wouldn't be too exorbitant
