mexican martinez ~ bw variant

2.25 oz tequila resposado
0.50 oz vermouth blanco
+ some maraschino cherries (for mixing only)
+ 2 dashes of rhubarb butters
+ ice

stir ingredients and strain into a coupe glass. really sorry if a bit of maraschino cherry meat gets in the glass – use a bit of maraschino liqueur instead if you have it.

review: i think blanc vermouth makes everything taste pure. this is a surprisingly interesting drink and i will make more of them.
